  • A recording of our Informational Webinar about the 2026 course held on December 10th can be found here.

Spring 2026 - Virtual Sessions:

  • Small group meetings will run from late March - June 2026. Small groups of course faculty and trainees will meet weekly for 60-minute meetings via Zoom to discuss updates, challenges, and questions related to the trainees’ proposal development. Attendance at small group meetings is required and the schedule will be designed to accommodate the group’s availability.

  • Webinars will be conducted biweekly from March - June 2026 by course faculty and guest faculty with expertise in clinical trials. Course trainees will join the live webinars as their schedule allows or review webinar recordings retrospectively.

  • Trainees will be expected to spend 2-3 hours per week working on developments to their proposed clinical trial including working on assignments, reviewing course material, and attending mentorship meetings.

Summer 2026 - Residential Meeting:

  • All trainees and course faculty are required to attend the in-person, residential portion of the course. The 2026 residential course will be held June 15 - 18 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The residential meeting includes 3 days of intensive training via presentations, small group meetings, and one-on-one sessions with course faculty, as well as networking and social opportunities. Trainees are expected to be free from clinical, teaching, and other professional responsibilities during this time to allow for focused refinement of their clinical trial protocols.

  • Travel costs within the U.S. to attend the residential meeting are covered by the course.

  • The agenda for the 2025 Residential Meeting can be found here. We expect the 2026 agenda to be similar to the 2025 agenda.

Summer & Fall 2026 - Virtual Sessions:

  • Small group meetings and the final steps of protocol development will continue following the residential meeting. The resulting protocol synopsis will be due in early September.

  • Course faculty will perform a mock study section in the fall for trainee proposals that are preparing to submit to external funding organizations and clinical trial networks.
