Biostatistics Track
The biostatistics track is an opportunity for early-career biostatisticians to get hands-on experience developing clinical trials across a range of neurological disease-areas and design types. Biostatisticians will typically apply to the course without a proposed clinical trial idea. Biostatistics trainees will be assigned to a small group and will participate in the statistical analysis development of the other trial projects in the group under the mentorship of the group’s faculty biostatistician.
Alternatively, biostatisticians who are already engaged in collaboration with another applicant on a proposed clinical trial project may submit a multiple investigator application and will be assigned to the same small group as their clinician counterpart, if accepted into the course.
Biostatistics track participants will participate in all aspects of the CTMC curriculum, including the mock study section session which allows trainees to get first-hand experience reviewing grants according to the NIH review process.
