  • Current grant support:

    • NINDS K23 NS125110: Brain Structure and Clinical Endpoints in Myotonic Dystrophy Type 2 - PI: Puwanant - Currently in Year 3. Plan for R01 submission in October 2025.

    • NINDS R61/R33 NS117210: Extracellular RNA biomarkers of myotonic dystrophy type 1 - Co-investigator - One paper has been published in Nature Communication (PMCID: PMC11882899). The second phase of this grant (R33) will start in June (06/2025-05/2027).

  • Site PI of two Antisense Oligonucleotides (ASOs) trials in myotonic dystrophy type 1.

  • Grant submission: NIAMS R21: Development of Quantitative Muscle MRI as a Biomarker of Disease Endpoints in Myotonic Dystrophy Type 2 (DeQoDE-DM2) - pending review on 4/17/2025

  • Unfortunately, my CTMC project did not progress to clinical trials, but I would like to develop a different project with the CTMC next year!
