Project Updates:

  • I needed preliminary data for my CTMC project and received R01 funding from the NINDS to study seizures after childhood stroke (now in Year 4). I will use the data to apply for funding to study interventions that reduce the risk of pediatric post-stroke epilepsy.

  • I have gained clinical trial experience as a co-Investigator for the Focal Cerebral Arteriopathy Steroids trial, a pediatric stroke clinical trial funded by NIH StrokeNet

  • I also study brain AVMs and hemorrhagic stroke in children through a registry study funded by the American Heart Association
